More About Me

As the son of a custom home builder, I’ve been immersed in the real estate industry for my whole life. Through working for my dad, creating a home for my own family, and my years as a real estate broker I have worked through a broad range of scenarios the residential real estate market presents. Having the tools and knowledge to navigate any transaction is important but every person is different, every family is different, and there are many reasons for buying or selling a property. I pride myself on understanding each client’s needs and circumstances because for some people, comfort and understanding is as important as the financial side of a transaction. I think this is a lesson I learned after a decade as a teacher. I taught and coached all ages and ability levels. They were there to get an education and grades were important, but sometimes students came in needing other kinds of support in order to reach their goals.

Based in Leicester, NC, Redbud Realty operates under the Coldwell Banker Advantage umbrella. I’m proud to work in the Coldwell Banker Advantage Asheville office because of the people around me. Not only are they knowledgeable, positive, and supportive, but with so many locals in the office they’re also passionate about serving Western North Carolina. I live in Buncombe county and serve Buncombe, Haywood, Madison, Henderson, Yancey, McDowell, and Transylvania counties.

Helping families in Leicester in particular is especially satisfying for me. Through my work on the board of the Leicester Community Center and coaching in the Erwin Youth League, I spend a lot of time with local families. Helping them transition within the community and welcoming new folks to the community can be quite gratifying.

WNC draws lots of people for the outdoors. We’ve got world class hiking, mountain biking, white water, and fly fishing (my personal favorite) and I love connecting with people who are coming for fun or selling a property I know is going to interest people who’ll come to the open house and talk about trout. Some houses won’t appeal to every buyer but I market properties in a variety of ways so it gets as many eyes on it as possible. Whether it’s a mountain cabin, neighborhood ranch home, luxury golf course property, or even just the right piece of land I use professional photos, video, floor plans, virtual tours, social media, and other advertising tools to promote every property.
